Contribution of Agricultural Extension to Promotion of Value Addition of Insects for Enhanced of Nutritional Security Among Smallholder Farmers

The study intended to investigate the contribution of agricultural extension on edible insect farming for food and feed nutritional security among smallholder farmers Siaya County in Kenya. aimed at examining role extensions towards value addition insects area. In so doing, probed relevant questions establish promotion food, sought identify factors determining adoption industry. adopted a descriptive survey design since it allows collection large amounts data from target population. Both primary secondary was collected respondents which included small holder farmers, service providers stakeholders sectors. A sample size 210 population 443 were interviewed using questionnaires.
